Ray Areshenko has had a lifelong passion for real estate. At age 20, he purchased his first fixer-upper. While working a full-time job and going to college, he spent his nights and weekends improving the property and ultimately made a profitable sale. In over a decade since, Ray has been involved in numerous aspects of both residential and commercial real estate, from sales and purchases, to rental management. Ray’s history of not just servicing traditional clients, but personally purchasing and managing rental property on his own behalf, makes him uniquely suited to understand transactions from all perspectives, and to successfully advise a broader range of clients.
Ray graduated on the Dean’s List from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University with a Bachelor of Science in Professional Aeronautics. He later received a Juris Doctorate and a Masters of Dispute Resolution from Pepperdine University School of Law.
Before going to law school, Ray spent several years as an officer in the U.S. Army as a UH-60 Blackhawk helicopter Pilot, simultaneously serving in various leadership roles in the U.S. and Iraq. During this time, he logged nearly one thousand hours of flight time, over half of which was in a combat zone. During law school, Ray was a Literary Citation Editor for the Journal of the National Association of the Administrative Law Judiciary. The Journal published his article, “Business Roundtable v. In addition to a real estate Broker’s license, Ray holds FAA licenses as a Commercial helicopter pilot and private plane pilot. Ray is an active member and volunteer with the Orange County Association of Realtors, the American Legion, and the Orange County Bar Association.
